A young man named Lu Ming lives a solitary, impoverished life following the death of his mother, whose health failed after his father, Lu Yaohua, abandoned them to marry the wealthy socialite Tang Wenyi. Lu Yaohua, Tang Wenyi, and their spoiled son Lu Ze reappear only to demand that Lu Ming donate a kidney to save Lu Ze, who is dying of uremia. Their cruel and condescending approach ignites Lu Ming's long-suppressed rage. Just as he is confronted, Lu Ming activates a Superior Selection System..
