A Dark Wars Tale
Alice Spencer-Killdare, Holy Champion of the Faith, needs a vacation. Or at least that is what her foster father thinks. When the stitches from her battle in Belfast with Demons, Vampires, and Werefoxes come out, he decides to pack everyone up and head to his estate in southern Scotland for just that. But when you are a God-chosen warrior fated to battle the monsters of the world, nothing is ever that simple and trouble has a way of finding Alice, no matter what her name or where she hides.
Eventually it turns into saving lost spirits. The first part was a college paper I wrote in the summer of 1995. I don't remember where I was going with it. Part two I wrote this week and it fills in where the story goes and who the characters are. There will be some discrepancy between parts one and two. Part three is the actual stories. It ends kind of abruptly as I needed to move on to other stuff. It still needs to be rewritten/edited.
He was a nice guy with a nice Mormon girlfriend, right up until he came out of his outhouse and found he could heal plants and people with a touch. Nothing went right after that. Some Baptists wanted to kill him, the police wanted to arrest him, the mormons wanted to make him an icon of their faith. All he wanted to do was get married. Some gifts came with a price tag that was too high to pay.
