A fire destroys a farm in Virginia, so the family is moving west. Except the youngest is too ill to travel when it's time to leave. The boy and his grandmother stay behind to follow later. It takes so long for him to recover the two don't go west, and find local employment. A decade later rising political problems cause the young man and his grandmother to make a decision about their future. They'll go west, but it isn't that simple, or an easy journey. 'Once a Marine, always a Marine.' was the code he lived by. His dictionary had no definition for 'impossible:' an exceptional man who wouldn't let his superiors stop him from doing what he saw as his duty, even if it's by himself after being retired. The story is told by his niece who's concerned about how the authorities are trying to rewrite his life for their own purposes.
This story is fiction, but not the facts. Information from Sumerian translations are true. Hindu texts of battles in space...true. Einstein's brain autopsy proved that he used more of his brain than other humans. How is that possible? How do men get flashes of genius, and why doesn't everyone function at that level of ability all the time? Why did the Dark Ages happen, and why does mankind seem to be sliding that direction again? This story is fiction, I hope. / (Reviews)

The origin story of Batman meant to capture the grit and spirit of the comics. This is just a fanfiction and is not meant for commercial use. While I do my best to honor the original story of Batman, I admit that it has my personal flair in it that you may notice if you're familiar with my work. I used AI to help me refine the book, but the dialogue, plot, and tone are all mine. I've always loved Batman and wanted to write my own fanfic that includes Gotham's full story and his legend. Enjoy.
Damsels In Distress
It was a typical domestic violence call that sent him to the home of Sid Jones. Officer Mike Radford had no idea that there was nothing standard about it until he stepped into an empty closet. Travel along with Mike Radford as he becomes one of the small cadre of Earth Heroes rescuing Damsels in Distress on Chaos.
This is the second in my Tugboat Man series. This time, Tug is in the race of his life against some very bad...well... not quite people. The title tells the tale. No, it has nothing to do with the Da Vinci code. But it's in the ballpark. The wife is from Atlantis, so there are some unavoidable sci-fi aspects. But this is actually nothing more than pure romantic adventure. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. D.T.
Years after the end of the war, Gerry Mannheim writes a summary of the whole war. Political intrigue around a bi-lateral trade agreement, recruitment of some computer specialists, and a kidnapping - just a normal overseas trip for Gerry Mannheim.
